Since I am no longer in production with my soapmaking, I can fall in love with detail and indulge in gimmicks. In one of my previous blogs I introduced you to a pop art design soap.
As it matured, I got the idea to use it as an "inlay" in another soap. No sooner said than done and that's how this soap bar came to be. I am in soap bliss!
Of course it takes effort, but the reward is great.
The technique used was marbling on the inlay piece. After maturing, I cut it in half, placed it in a mold and scented & poured in a new soap cast using the same recipe with nanamine and lemon.
Voila and there she is, a little work of art!
