A soap with alpaca fleece I always wanted to try. And finally the time had come, a participant sent me alpaca hair and curiosity immediately drove me to the workshop.
Why alpaca hair in a soap? Because the keratin it contains is an important building block of skin, hair and nails. And why not take advantage of such a precious raw material?
The alpaca hair is dissolved in the lye and further processed as usual.
My fat base consists of sesame,- rapeseed,- macadamia nut,- sunflower,- and castor oil. For care, an extra portion of shea, - and cocoa butter has migrated into the soap.
The fragrance is composed of a selection of different wood notes.
Now it is only wait........
